So "Close-up Magic" Parties are a Thing You Should Know About for 2018

I had the pleasure of hosting one of these parties in my home this past winter with The Secret Society, and everyone we invited had a fantastic evening! I myself suffer from a marked lack of the genes required for suspension of disbelief (unless it's a horror movie, which my brain will take as pure truth bombs + my immediate destiny). Austin Muralist and Painter Chris Rogers (Re)Paints the Town After Mural Destruction

Chris Rogers is a painter and muralist in Austin, TX, and after one of his iconic graffiti murals at E. 12th and Chicon was recently painted over, he is back at it this month. The retail store who commissioned the new mural realized their mistake after community backlash to the unannounced literal whitewashing of the wall. After the community uproar, members of the East 12th Street Merchants Association spoke to the merchant, and she agreed to commission Chris to repaint a new mural.

Custom Vanity with Mid-century Modern Charm!

When I bought my last home, I decided to rip out the tenant-destroyed, heavily-listing-to-one-side vanity from 1950 and replace it. I wanted something from the same era that reflected my eclectic style, on a DIY budget, and I wanted it in rose gold.
